2007 grade paint gelding
Toby stands a rock solid 16.1 HH with lots of bone. He is not only conformationally solid, he has a solid mind with solid training. We have had Toby since his two year old year and he has been Jess’s main colt starting horse for the last 5 years and has been used to flag and pony hundreds of colts. He is quiet, confident, well educated with tons of real life experience. He is well mannered, has a really good handle and a lot of body control. Toby was developed through the traditional bridle horse stages, the hackamore, the two rein and the spade bit and is a true bridle horse that rides straight up in the spade. He’ll sidepass, turn, stop, rollback and change leads one handed. He is very confident on the trails, good with traffic, cattle, crossing water and will go anywhere he is pointed. Toby has been used as a demos horse in clinics and has packed novice riders.
