SOLD AT THE CHRHBA SALE IN MAPLE CREEK SK, SEPTEMBER 17 2016
Well the 40th Annual Sale is in the books! High selling horse of the day was consigned by Jess Dyck/Lonesum D Ranch - Lot 53 was their flashy 7 year old sorrel gelding; GLH PEPPY GUN aka "Lincoln". Jess had an excellent handle on him & he showed great on sale day - doing a reining pattern bridleless. Ridge Ranch from Hanna, Alberta took the nice gelding home for a final bid of $16,000. Pedigree buffs will find it interesting that this horse was by the same sire as Lot 28 from last year; GLH Peppy Gun It that Greg Gordon/ Ridge Ranch also purchased.
Lincoln is a good minded all around gelding that anyone can get along with. This nice gelding is sure to get you noticed with his good looks and lots of chrome. Lincoln was trained by the Lonesum D Ranch where we specialize in making safe, all around horses. He has been used for moving cattle and other light ranch work is great out on the trails.
