This is a cutting saddle I built in the winter of 04/05. Its built on a Buster welch tree with a 16" seat, an 8" gullet 3" horn & an 3 1/2" cantel. I really worked at the ground seat to get it just right because that's what helps you sit corectly.If you will notice, the position of the pocket is almost in the middle of the seat.I also mounted my stirrups a little farther forward then most saddles. This will also help to keep you in the right position for the big stops. It has in skirt rigging with cut away skirts for close contact & subtile leg ques. The tooling is three quarter basket weave.
